How To Use The Laws Of Attraction
The first thing anyone who wants to fulfill the promise of the Law of Attraction needs to do, is commit to taking action today and every day.
You need to know how to use the Laws of Attraction effectively, so you can to apply what you are learning here on a daily basis. You can do the most simple things immediately, right now.
As you learn, take notes about what you find interesting and what ideas pop into your head as you go through the material provided here.
Whenever you feel inspiration, jot it down. There is power in that simple act, as when you get more than one sense involved with an action, it ‘sticks’ better than when you only use one. More on that later…
Now, the first action you need to take is to get clear on what you want to have happen in your life. You have dreams and hopes, like everyone, but they may be buried underneath a layer or two of limiting beliefs that reside in your subconscious.
These might sound like “I can’t, because..”, “That never happens to anyone like me, so I won’t even think about it”, or “I tried that, and look what happened”.
You might even have beliefs that sound like “Wealthy people only have money because they do bad things”.
Finding your limiting beliefs is necessary, so you can get rid of them. When you do that, you can truly begin to apply the Law of Attraction in your life.
OK, I was talking about the first action, getting clear about what you want to have happen…
You need to find a ‘space’ where you can dream about anything you want.
Whether it is something you want to do, something you want to have, places you want to go or simply the way you want your life to be, you will find that listening to your inner self is easiest when you find a place without a lot of self talk.
That can be found by meditating, praying or just sitting quietly without a lot of distractions. Whatever it takes to quiet your mind and listen to your intuition is what you need to do, so you can dream about anything you want.
One way to do this is to sit down and write as fast as you can, every wild thing you have ever thought about doing, being or having.
Don’t edit, don’t judge, just get it out there where you can see it. Literally.
Next, take what you wrote and turn each of those dreams into positive affirmations. Write an affirmation about each one using positive language.
Avoid words like ‘don’t’, ‘not’ and ‘no, use words like ‘am’. Here’s some examples -“I am constantly seeing the good in others” “I meditate daily” I accept myself for who I am as I learn to use the Law of Attraction”.
And that brings us to the second step…
Create a Vision Board
The simplest, fastest way to do that is to get images of what you want and put them somewhere you can see them all in one place.
You can cut them out of magazines, print them from a computer, get anything that looks like what you dream about.
Then, with thumbtacks, staples, glue, or what have you, stick them on a board where you can see them every day.
Find some music that makes you feel the way you like, and play it while you are looking at your board every day, at least once a day.
Now, start thinking about what you are grateful for, every morning before you look at the board.
Start with a piece of paper, or better yet, go to the store and get a spiral notebook ($0.82 at Target) like I use, and write down five things you are grateful for.
The next day, read what you wrote the day before, think of five more things you are grateful for, and write them down. DO this every day, and soon you will have a lot of material to use to get in an “attitude of gratitude“.
Then, go to your vision board and look at it while you listen to that music you like. This is where the magic of using the Law of Attraction happens – the way this makes you feel. Remember when I was talking about using more than one sense? Here it is again!
So, once you get all of this going, you just have to wait and see what happens.
When you have reset the filters that your brain uses to keep everything in your subconscious from bombarding your conscious mind every second, you will begin to notice different things around you.
They might have already been there, but you were filtering them out with limiting beliefs and negative thoughts.
Now, you will see things you are attracted to, because you know you are attracted to them. Since those things make you feel so good, you will even look for them on that subconscious level.
The form that the changes take may be like you anticipate, and they may not. Expect the unexpected!
Now, take action! This may seem impossible at first, but you will begin to find opportunities, and things you can do to take steps in the right direction as they appear!
